Private beta · onboarding 20 sellers and 5 agent teams

One API to let AI agents find, quote and check out real products.

Sellers list products from photos or connect a Shopify store. Agents search exact variants through one API, also available as MCP tools, get a live price and stock check, and send the buyer to a hosted checkout. The buyer approves every order. Nothing is bought without them.

The problem

Agent commerce is growing fast. The plumbing is still a mess.

For agent developers

  • Every store needs a different integration.

    UCP, ACP, AP2, WebMCP, and each card network's own agent program. Every protocol means a new adapter, a new auth flow and new ways to break.

  • You can't trust the data.

    Scraped prices go stale. Stock counts lie. Your agent recommends a $49 item and checkout charges $74. The user blames your agent, not the store.

  • Browser automation is brittle.

    A layout change breaks your flow at 2 a.m. Every workaround costs you tokens, time and user trust.

For sellers

  • AI shoppers can't read most product listings.

    Agents misread your variants, skip your stock levels, or never see you at all. Large parts of retail sites still aren't machine-readable, and new sellers spend weeks on storefronts agents never look at.

  • Every AI channel wants its own setup.

    ChatGPT wants a feed. Google wants UCP. Card networks want their own programs. You have products to sell, not a protocol team.

  • You can't see what's happening.

    Which agents looked at your products? Which quotes lost the sale? Right now, you have no idea.

Each protocol is weeks of engineering. Multiply that by every new standard, then maintain all of them.

The solution

One neutral layer between buyer agents and real sellers.

01

One integration covers every protocol

One REST API, with an MCP server on top so agents can call it as tools. Cedari handles the protocol translation underneath.

< 2 hrs
for agents to go from API key to first search
< 30 min
for sellers to connect a Shopify store or list from photos
0
rework when a new protocol ships
02

Prices your agent can trust

Before any purchase, Cedari checks the seller's live price and stock and returns a signed, time-limited quote for the exact variant, price and stock.

99%+
quote accuracy
< 1 sec
to get a live quote
0
price surprises between quote and checkout
03

The buyer stays in control

Agents prepare the order. Buyers approve it on a hosted checkout that runs on UCP, the open commerce standard. Sellers stay the seller of record and fulfill their own orders.

0
card numbers stored by Cedari
100%
of orders approved by a human buyer
1
audit trail per order: quote, approval, confirmation

Figures are beta targets, not measured results. We'll publish live numbers as design partners go into production.

How it works

From zero to your first confirmed order in three steps.

For sellers

  1. 1

    List your products. New seller? Upload product photos and Cedari drafts the listing. Have a Shopify store? Connect it and your catalog syncs automatically.

  2. 2

    Review and set rules. Approve what gets published, and decide which agents can sell your products.

  3. 3

    Get orders. Agents send buyers to checkout. You ship the order. Payouts go to your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect.

For agent developers

  1. 1

    Search. POST /v1/search, or call the same endpoint as the commerce.search MCP tool. Get exact, normalized variants.

  2. 2

    Quote. Lock in a live price and stock check with a signed quote.

  3. 3

    Check out. Create a hosted checkout. The buyer approves. Fetch the confirmed order.

agent.ts
// 1. Find the exact variant
const { results } = await cedari.search({
  query: "black shipping boxes 8x6x4",
  constraints: { quantity: 200, max_total: 24000, currency: "USD" },
});

// 2. Lock a live, signed price
const quote = await cedari.quote({ offer_id: results[0].offer_id, quantity: 200 });

// 3. Hand the buyer a hosted checkout
const { checkout_url } = await cedari.checkout({ quote_id: quote.id });

Same endpoints as MCP tools: commerce.search → commerce.quote → commerce.purchase → commerce.get_order

No new catalog. No card data to handle. No protocol to learn.

FAQ

Questions you're probably asking.

How much will it cost?

Free during beta for design partners. After launch, sellers get a free tier to list products and appear to agents, and agent developers get a free search tier. We'll publish pricing before anyone is charged, and we'll only earn when orders go through. Waitlist members lock in early-access terms.

How long does setup take?

Sellers: our target is under 30 minutes. Connect Shopify and your catalog syncs itself, or upload photos and review the listings Cedari drafts. Agent developers: one API key for our REST API and the MCP server on top of it, first search in under 2 hours. Design partners get a direct line to our engineers.

Is it secure? How do payments work?

Cedari never stores card numbers. Checkout runs on UCP, and payments go through Stripe, with payouts sent to each seller's own Stripe account through Stripe Connect. Every order needs explicit buyer approval, is tied to a signed, expiring quote, and is logged end to end. Each seller is the seller of record and fulfills their own orders.

Do I need a store, or do I have to migrate anything?

No. New sellers don't need a storefront at all: Cedari hosts your listings. Shopify stores keep Shopify as the source of truth for their catalog. Developers keep their agent stack; Cedari is one more tool, not a rewrite. Checkout runs on UCP, and Cedari is designed to sit alongside Shopify Catalog and ACP, not replace them.

The agents are already shopping. Be where they can buy.

We're onboarding a small first group: 20 sellers and 5 agent teams. Design partners shape the API, get hands-on onboarding, and pay nothing during beta.
